I reckon, that you should revive the "Lost in Space" concept you guys had. It was really good even though Nintendo stole it for Mario galaxy. and in a n interview with one of the developers of the game, he aid this when he was asked if they used the concept.
"We did take the concept from the franchise, but we changed it enough to make it our own."
I don't care what they changed, they still stole the concept! I want you guys to remake the game, with these idea's that people have listed put into it. That would make it such an awesome game, and it would be so much more awesome than mario!!!! Also, it should have a graphic style the same as what was used in P&P. It was the best. the graphics were so cool!

Was this "Lost in Space" concept the Dimension game or something else? And where is it said Nintendo admitted to lifting said idea from the AE franchise? I find that difficult to believe....

@previous Post
We removed your link, as it was said to have pop ups contain adult content. Not your fault though. "Dimension" is not the same game as the original lost in space game.

That's because it isn't being released through Sony. Its being developed by certain members of the Sarugetchu development team, and it will be independently published by "PlayZOne". The good thing will be that it will be cheaper to buy for you guys, the downside is, there will be less copies available to the public. It is also funny how you should mention the "Lost In Space" concept. I'm not telling you why it is, but you will find out soon enough.

"Dimension" is not the same game as the original lost in space game. Really? Huh. I never heard anything about a "Lost in Space" concept. Is there an old page left up somewhere with information on it or the like? I'd assume the game had been indefinitely shelved like Dimension, but from the sound of the last post, looks like there's been a development...no pun intended. And anyway, Googling won't turn up any credible source that cites Nintendo as having admitted to stealing ideas from the AE franchise. SMG was in development before AE3 was even released. Just pretty unlikely....

We have nothing more to say about it.

Ignore my last post, I'll post a more thought out, serious, less "stupid newbie" post either late tonight or tomorrow evening.
Also, I thought I remembered there being a "space" concept floating around the internet. Looks like a was right. (My next post will deal with, however, a sort-of space-ish concept, but it isn't as big as traveling the galaxy or being lost in space.)

Don't sweat it dude. As long as people are tossing ideas around, it's all good. When we posted that information, we had to take it down because we never mentioned it was the Mario franchise, and people just took that it was because Galaxy was out at the time. We have nothing more to say about it. Funny, sounds like it was actually the other way around; people scrutinizing the AE game concept in relation to SMG. Either way, I'm sure it was all overblown nonsense. As for the game itself...I look forward to seeing where that bit of foreshadowing leads.

Well, I haven't read through all of the posts yet so idk if this was already suggested and I don't even know if we decided on a genre for this game yet, but I always figured that since AE1 levels were themed after different time periods, AE2 levels were themed after countries (I think... idk it's been a while since I played it), and AE3 levels were themed after movies, I always hoped that AE4 levels would be themed after different video games, granted Sony could get in trouble for using games that are other console exclusives, but I still think it would be pretty cool and it's just an idea I'm throwin out there that could be cool for this project. Do you guys think that would be a cool idea?
